Once again, sorry for the lack of updates! It’s been a crazy and beautiful wedding season so far!
I thought I’d share with you the beautiful elopement of Liwei & Mo. These guys travelled all the way up from Oxford to get married in the absolutely beautiful Crear. It started with a traditional Chinese ceremony in the morning where Liwei uncovered his bride-to-be and had to first find her shoes that she’d hidden before carrying her out on door and in another. In China the groom is meant to carry the bride from her family home to his but since this wasn’t possible they went out one door of the cottage and in another. It was so much fun and Mo even made Liwei sing to her before agreeing to marry him!
We then went for a hike around Crear and took some snaps and had to work out a plan to get around the cows that were blocking our paths.
After a quick costume change Mo & Liwei were ready for their hand fasting ceremony on the rocks by the sea.
It was such a beautiful, intimate day (no wedding guests, just them!) and it was such an honour to be part of.
It went a little something like this…
